FlowTracker

When a pipe is rotationally symmetrical and contains no bends,
and the flow conditions are constant, a single path system is
sufficient for an accurate discharge measurement.

Cross path system

Impressum

When the velocity profile in pressurized pipes is disturbed by rotational
asymmetry or by elbows in the pipe, a crossed path system is
recommended for the ultrasonic discharge measurement.

Multiple level system

In non-uniform offset pipes, Y-branch pipes, or in pipes which
are bifurcated, it is impossible to achieve a discharge measurement
with any of the above described configurations. In these cases,
Quantum Hydrometrie recommends a multiple level, crossed
path system in order to ascertain the discharge despite the varying
velocities found in the complete pipe diameter.
